Guayaquil Street Art

January 29th 2015

I had very little time in Guayaquil.  A day, but I day where I needed to recover on sleep.  It’s too bad as while this huge city is not popular with tourists with the proper time I think I might have enjoyed it, even despite the intense humidity and heat.  But oh well, no matter how long you spend in a country you miss things, and this time around Guayaquil will largely be one of those places.

I stayed in hostel DreamKapture mainly based on the name and it was fine.  Comfortable and friendly with a decent breakfast included, though it was hot even despite the fans in the room and If you have the money I might spring for a hostel or hotel with AC.

All I managed to do was check out a huge mall (for the AC)  and walk around the neighbourhood of the hostel meeting a few friendly people and seeing a ton of Impressive street art, something I’m starting to love more and more with each day spent in South America!  So below are my photos, I shant bore you with more words.
